The vintage airplane season is just about too start ! We at vintage motors will cover as many events as we can, in order to bring you live coverage of shows like La Ferté Alais. This year should be special, since the famous P38 "Glacier Girl" should come to Europe for a flying show of its capabilities after the long and thourough restoration. The P38 is famous in many way.
It won the Collier Award in 1940, as the most beautifull and advanced plane of its day. It was also the last ride of our beloved autor Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, who brought us the novel "Le Petit Prince". We will keep you up to date as soon as its twin engines roar on this side of the Atlantic !
We also hope to see vintage jets, like the F86 Sabre, at these shows. There is more to come, so stay tuned to your favorite Vintage Motors site !
